Hola! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience in mental health, behavioral health, and non-profit work. I grew up in Los Angeles, completed my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in the Bronx, and now call Ocala, Florida home. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across the lifespan, each with their own unique stories and needs. My work is guided by an integrative approach, meaning I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods to find what fits best for you. I’ve worked extensively with family systems, intergenerational trauma, parents and children facing behavioral challenges, neurodivergent individuals, women navigating life transitions, and people seeking to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be causing distress, mood difficulties, anxiety, or OCD. Some of my specialties include helping young adults transition into life after high school, supporting parents and partners as they navigate family life, and walking alongside Latina women who are balancing relationships, cultural expectations, independence, and self-care. I believe deeply that every person’s journey is unique. That’s why I focus on meeting you exactly where you are, empowering you to uncover strengths, solutions, and coping strategies that work for your life. While I am trained in CBT and DBT, I see these as tools within a broader, collaborative process. At the heart of my practice is client-centered care — because there is no single path to healing that fits everyone. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that honors your voice, builds on your resilience, and empowers you to move toward the life you want to live.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus will be on getting to know you and understanding your unique needs. I like to remind clients that therapy is a process—it’s completely okay to take your time and share only what feels comfortable. You’re in control of your story, and you’ll open up when you’re ready. Together, we’ll talk about the symptoms you’re experiencing, your personal history, and the changes you’d like to see in your daily life. This time is also your opportunity to ask questions—about treatment options, my approach, or anything else that feels important. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, respected, and supported as we begin this journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is supporting Latina women who are striving to balance the many demands of life, family, and career. As a first-generation Mexican, I have a deep personal and professional understanding of how acculturation and generational differences can affect well-being, relationships, and identity. Many Latinas come to therapy feeling stretched thin, questioning whether they are doing enough, or struggling with the weight of expectations from different parts of their lives. In our sessions, I create a space where these experiences are validated and explored with compassion and clarity. Together, we work toward strengthening coping skills, reclaiming confidence, and finding the balance and peace every woman deserves.

I deeply value my role as a therapist and the opportunity to work with people from many walks of life. I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, and I have particular experience supporting women, Hispanic and immigrant communities, neurodivergent individuals, and caregivers. Many of my clients seek help for challenges such as anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, family dynamics, life transitions, and setting healthy boundaries. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering—I meet you where you are and work alongside you to create meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Many of my clients present to session due to exposure to immature parents and relationships. In sessions we explore how early relationships with caregivers and others whom we are close to have shaped current emotional patterns, self-perception, and interpersonal connections. Through a secure therapeutic relationship, we foster emotional safety, trust, and corrective experiences, allowing clients to develop healthier attachment styles and improve their relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

By using structured techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral experiments, and coping skills training, I empower clients to develop healthier thinking patterns and more effective ways of managing stress and emotions. Through CBT we learn to harness the power of yet.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In sessions clients learn to balance acceptance and change by learning skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Through a structured and validating approach, clients are supported in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and developing healthier coping strategies.

Trauma-Focused CBT

This form of CBT focuses on the traumas that may have disrupted our lives. TF-CBT helps clients process and heal from traumatic experiences by combining trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive-behavioral techniques. Through gradual exposure, cognitive restructuring, and coping skills training, clients learn to reduce trauma-related distress, improving emotional regulation, and developing a healthier sense of safety and control.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

This is crucial to most interventions especially trauma or anxiety work. Mindfulness helps clients cultivate present-moment awareness and nonjudgmental acceptance of their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Through practices like meditation, breathwork, and mindful observation, clients can reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and develop a greater sense of inner balance and resilience.
