Is life feeling messy? Are you ready to take charge of your thoughts, emotions and behaviors? It can seem overwhelming when asking yourself "Where do I begin?". I'm happy to walk alongside you to provide support and guidance while building your skill set and coping skills to feel more grounded and stable. Hi! I'm Ashley Richmond, a therapist in the Tennessee community working with individuals navigating their life journey. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to providing non-judgmental support, a safe space to communicate openly, and evidenced based treatment interventions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I typically keep things loosely structured to allow for more organic conversation and work to take place. During your first session with me, I will review intake paperwork with you, discuss details of therapy, and allow you to tell me about yourself so I can better understand your story.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With experience in working with students at a local University, I am able to assist those transitioning into adulthood and finding answers to questions like "who am I?". These thoughts can be overwhelming and I'm here to help you navigate moving forward. Working in the homes of hospice patients and their families, I have years of experience working with terminally ill clients to find a place of peace and closure, as well as working with family members preparing for loss. Navigating many emotions at once can be tricky. I'm here to provide you with support in moving through those emotions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I specialize in grief and loss, end of life, life transition, and trauma. As a newly certified clinical trauma professional, I am able to explore the impact traumatic events have on your day to day life and work toward healing and resolution. My practice facilitates therapy unique to individual needs including anxiety, depression, stress, finding purpose, among other needs. I provide services to young adults transitioning into adulthood, adults, and elders. If you're willing to share your story, i'm here to listen and support you in living life as the fullest version of yourself.
