About me

A warm welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The work that I do is shaped beyond textbooks, exams, and licenses. As a low socioeconomic multiethnic sexual minority hailing from the streets of Los Angeles, I have had extensive informative life experiences that shape the realness of my approach. We are the sum of our parts, and those parts are many. Viewing an individual as a person in an environment known as "PIE" is the foundation of my approach toward helping you get to where you want to go. Our lives do not occur in isolation and are patterned by how the world has treated us. As such, evaluating an individual's experience based upon a holistic approach is the foundation of the work that I do.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and explore your background, current challenges, and hopes for the future. We will also discuss my approach and your goals to ensure we are a good fit and you feel comfortable working together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with a wide variety of humans over the past 10+ years, I have developed the ability to establish quick rapport, keen listening skills, and creative exploration. By accurately sourcing our experiences we regain control over our lives by gaining insight into how we got here and where we are going.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am honored to work with humans who have been in survival mode, felt misunderstood, othered, and are healing from a challenging world. My clients are observant, have many strengths, and see the world in a way that is often not accepted. They often feel less than, experience guilt, feel "stuck", or like they are doing something wrong. The clients I work with have often been told their entire lives what to do without being asked how they are feeling or what their experiences are.
