LMHC, 12 years of experience
I’m a therapist who sees and treats you as a unique individual — not just a diagnosis or a checklist of symptoms. My goal is to meet you where you are, walk with you through your journey, and support you in reaching a place where you’re not just surviving, but truly thriving. I offer therapy grounded in compassion, care, and consistency. I believe in holding space for both grace and accountability — creating a safe environment where you can be honest with yourself, challenge unhelpful patterns, and grow. Together, we’ll work to identify and confront the distorted thoughts and false beliefs that often fuel anxiety, depression, and disconnection. My deepest desire is to help you break free from cycles that keep you stuck and to support your movement toward healing, clarity, and wholeness.
For Individuals: Our first session is all about getting to know you — your story, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll ask a variety of questions to better understand your experiences, and you’re welcome to ask me questions as well. While much of the session is focused on gathering information, I may also offer small insights or reflections along the way. Together, we’ll begin building the foundation for your healing journey. For Couples: In our first session, I start creating a road map for your relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you together, what’s brought you to therapy, and where you’d like to go from here. I’ll ask questions to understand your dynamic, and by the end of the session, I’ll provide a personalized assessment tool I’ve found helpful for many couples. This session is the first step in creating a path toward reconnection, understanding, and healing.
Clients often describe me as both candid and compassionate — someone who tells the truth with care and meets them with both grace and accountability. I create a space where you can feel seen and heard, while also being gently challenged to grow. My approach is person-centered and flexible. I believe you should have a voice in setting the tone and direction of our sessions. While I bring a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and experience, I also value collaboration and authenticity in the room. One of my unique strengths is how my mind works — I think differently. This allows me to connect especially well with overthinkers, analytical minds, and those who appreciate alternative perspectives. If you’ve ever felt like traditional approaches don’t quite fit, you might find that my way of thinking resonates with you.
For Individuals: I work best with individuals who are tired of being stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, trauma, or other life-draining experiences. My ideal client is ready for change — even if that change feels scary or uncertain. You may not have it all figured out, but you're willing to explore, challenge old patterns, and do the inner work. If you're looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with both empathy and truth, helping you shift from dysfunction to healing and growth, we may be a great fit. For Married Couples: I work well with couples who are committed to improving their relationship and open to doing the work — not just together, but individually as well. My ideal couple is made up of two people who are willing to reflect, take accountability, and explore new ways of relating to strengthen their union. Growth in marriage starts when both partners are ready to look inward as much as they look at each other. For Pre-Marital Couples: I’m passionate about helping engaged or seriously dating couples build a solid foundation. I work best with couples who are ready to have real, sometimes unconventional conversations that go beyond surface-level topics. We’ll explore everything — values, habits, expectations, and communication — so that no stone is left unturned. My goal is to help you move toward a marriage marked by transparency, intentionality, and long-term success.
I have been in this field for over 10 years. I use a wide variety of modalities, I very much person centered. With that being said, I use CBT to challenge the negative core beliefs that cause so much anguish and pain.
I believe in the sanctity of marriage and relationships. I love to complete pre-marital and marital counseling. I understand the importance of communication as it relates to developing a strong relationship.
