My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

With a wealth of experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I bring a nuanced approach to help individuals navigate their mental well-being. My practice is rooted in empowering clients to identify and reshape negative thought patterns, fostering lasting change. Through targeted interventions and collaborative strategies, I guide individuals toward a path of self-discovery, resilience, and improved mental health.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based form of cognitive-behavioral therapy specifically designed to help clients deal with trauma-related symptoms, particularly those associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). CPT focuses on challenging and modifying maladaptive beliefs related to the trauma, aiding clients in developing a more balanced and realistic understanding of their experiences. I educated clients about CPT, explaining how trauma can affect thoughts and feelings, and the role of cognitive distortions in maintaining distress. Building trust a create a safe and supportive environment where the client feels comfortable discussing their trauma. The clients and I collaboratively set clear, achievable goals for therapy, tailored to the client's specific needs and trauma-related challenges.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapy (MBT) integrates principles of mindfulness—such as present-moment awareness, acceptance, and non-judgment—with traditional therapeutic techniques. This approach is particularly effective for reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and enhancing overall emotional regulation and well-being. Key mindfulness-based therapies include Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

Strength-Based

Strength-Based Therapy (SBT) is an approach that focuses on clients’ strengths, resources, and capacities rather than their problems and deficits. This positive and empowering approach helps clients build resilience, foster self-efficacy, and enhance overall well-being. By recognizing and leveraging their strengths, clients can create more effective solutions to their challenges.
