Hi! I'm a licensed professional counselor in PA serving adolescents to middle aged adults. Through building a strong rapport and using a genuine approach I am able to assist my clients in achieving their goals and living a happier life. Throughout our time together in therapy we will explore past events that impact the way you view the world, learn coping skills, identify the things that are keeping you stuck and learn how to become the person you want to be.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session we will take the time to get to know each other. I'll go over all of the basic questions of the intake form with you so I can get a broad understanding of your experiences and what brings you to therapy. Together we will come up with a plan on how to move forward and what works best for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist I am very open-minded and receptive to feedback. As I have mentioned every person is unique and not all therapeutic tools are going to be right for you. If something is not working I love to hear feedback from clients so we can reassess our plan and make it better. I am also a very genuine person, who I am in the office is who I am outside of the office (with a few exceptions), which has made a lot of my clients feel more comfortable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Are you someone who is anxious, depressed, experiencing a difficult life transition or just having a hard time in general? If so, I can definitely help! I enjoy working with clients who are open to feedback, willing to try new things and are motivated to improve.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT in order to collaborate with clients in examining negative thinking patterns that can contribute to uncomfortable emotions. We then use thought challenging skills and cognitive restructuring in order to decrease negative thinking.

Integrative

Every person is unique which is why I utilize integrative treatment methods in order to best serve each individual. I've used techniques of different theories including CBT, DBT, person centered, motivational interviewing and ACT. I believe in a direct, genuine and collaborative experience with a strong therapeutic rapport in order to provide a safe space for being open.
