In a perfect world, you wouldn't need to be looking for a therapist - but here we are. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and I've been working in the mental health field for ten years. I graduated from Simmons College in 2017 and am currently licensed in Massachusetts and Vermont. I help people of all ages and identities make the changes they need in their lives to be happier.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Typically during the first meeting, we'll talk about background information and what exactly brings you to therapy. We'll discuss what works for you, what doesn't work for you, and what to expect from therapy. We'll come up with an initial plan together and go from there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have experience working with clients going through some of the hardest moments of their lives in outpatient, inpatient, and correctional settings. I use insights from the stories that have been shared with me to help others face whatever unique challenges they may be living through.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I'm passionate about working with people who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, behavior, or past experiences. I want to help you look at yourself from a nonjudgmental, patient, and curious perspective. Habits I have helped people change include negative thinking, how you act and feel in relationships, how you respond to stress, and addictive behaviors.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I've used ACT strategies to help people take a nonjudgmental look at what's going on in their lives and how they feel about it. ACT is all about recognizing your personal values, paying attention to your emotions, and figuring out what to change or what to accept.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing has helped previous clients gain the additional push they need to make an important decision or change in their lives. I use this approach so people can objectively look at the pros and cons of a situation or behavior and use this knowledge to find a solution they feel good about.
