Hello! My name is Justin. I have been a licensed social worker for 8 years and I have over 10 years of experience serving our community. Social Work has always been my calling and I have a true passion to provide client/patient care in any capacity possible. The best ways to describe me would be patient, positive, and supportive. I am not here to judge you. I am not here to criticize you. I am here to help you recognize your value. You will get to know that I am here to provide support and also to learn from you in this process. Let's work together and create a new pathway to recovery!
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will focus on your reasons for seeking therapy, the topic of client confidentiality, and my approach to client care.
My treatment methods include components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT).
I know that you have value and worth regardless of what your past makes you believe. I feel that I have the skillset to help you learn what you've always been capable of. I work to create and maintain a safe non-judgmental environment that encourages you to be you.
I am particularly focused on adult clients with substance use disorders who are trying to become stable in their recovery.
