My treatment methods

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

I believe in homework that engages the client in treatment. This is also necessary to practice the self talk necessary to stop the uncomfortable thoughts.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

This technique fits in nicely with Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy in assisting the client with traumatic thoughts.

Cyndy uses a breadth of knowledge and experience to guide my thinking as I am working toward solutions to my challenges. I appreciate the direct, intelligent suggestions she offers, and the way she extends my thinking to a deeper level. I followed up on most of the resources she offered and look forward to continuing the work on my own over time.

I've only had 1 visit so far. Cyndy came is very calm & seemed to care to what I was saying. She allowed me to talk & didnt interrupt. She interrupted in a very calm, non-judgemental way or at least that was how I interrupt her. She gave me some knowledge & answered my question when I couldn't understand the process or terminology in the session. At this moment it's too early to say. My first impression is she's a fit for me; specialty meet what I'm looking for in a therapist.
