About me

Hi! I'm a licensed mental health counselor living in Savannah, GA, licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. I've been doing this work for 15 years, in settings ranging from community-based support to inpatient, partial hospital, and integrated primary care. I lean on evidence based strategies like CBT and DBT, but the real foundation is understanding how life experience and trauma live in the body, not just the mind. My job is to help you figure out what "better" actually looks like for you, then build a space where we can get there together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We'll start with the getting-to-know-you stuff: what's bringing you in, what's been going on, what you're hoping shifts. No pressure to have it all figured out. I just want a real picture of where you're at so we can build from there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is person-centered, with a real focus on authentic expression and learning to cope with an overstimulating world. Sessions with me might include a laugh, a tarot pull, or a look at your horoscope, but we're also doing the real work: naming the patterns you want to change, understanding how they formed (and how they may have actually served you at one point), and figuring out what change genuinely looks like for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I do my best work with people who are ready to look at their trauma and life history and connect the dots to the patterns showing up now. Maybe you sense where certain reactions come from, or maybe you know something keeps repeating. If you're curious about why you do what you do, not just how to stop it, we'll get along well.
