New to Grow
Hi, I'm Lindsay. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Conflict is an unavoidable part of life. Sometimes we see it slowly building over time, and other times it arrives unexpectedly through a significant life event. These challenges can lead to anxiety, depression, trauma, or a decline in self-esteem. They may affect our relationships, daily functioning, and overall sense of well-being. At times, they can even cause us to seek comfort in unhealthy ways. While conflict is a natural part of life, growth and healing often begin when we are willing to face it. My goal is to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges, move forward from difficult experiences, and develop healthier, more effective ways of coping. I believe every person possesses unique strengths, and my approach focuses on identifying and building upon those strengths while working collaboratively to create meaningful solutions and achieve personal goals. Whether you are facing a current struggle, working through a past experience, or simply seeking greater balance in your life, I strive to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where growth and positive change can occur.
Taking the step to begin therapy can feel both exciting and overwhelming. My hope is that after our first session, you feel more comfortable and confident in the process. This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to ask questions and for me to learn about your experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals. There is no expectation that everything will be discussed in the first session—and it won't be. I believe therapy works best when it moves at a pace that feels right for you. I strive to create a collaborative relationship where we work together to identify your needs and develop a path forward. I believe that trust, connection, and collaboration are key components of meaningful and lasting change.
I believe therapy should be as unique as the individuals seeking it. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing and personal growth. My goal is to meet you where you are, understand your unique experiences and needs, and tailor our work together accordingly. I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. While therapy often involves addressing difficult topics, I also believe there is room for humor when appropriate. Sometimes laughter can help us navigate life's challenges, build connection, and make the therapeutic process feel a little less overwhelming.
I work with young and middle aged adult populations going to through major life transitions, feeling stuck and or guardians needing helping navigating their school aged child needs (school). This could include topics like self esteem, healthy relationships, navigating changes, family conflicts, relationship conflicts, anxiety and feeling stuck. I also really like working with school staff and have a lot of experience working in schools.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is a solid foundation for helping clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. There are so many wonderful tools to provide successful outcomes with this method.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I incorporate this approach into my practice because it promotes empowerment, self-awareness, and collaboration. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and I strive to create a supportive, person-centered environment where we can work together toward meaningful and lasting change.
Strength-Based
Everyone has strengths, and it is incredibly rewarding to help uncover them and put them into action. I take a strengths-based approach by helping clients identify and build on their existing abilities, values, and successes. Rather than focusing solely on challenges or deficits, I support clients in recognizing and utilizing their unique strengths as tools for growth, resilience, and lasting change. By fostering self-awareness and confidence, I help clients draw upon their own resources to navigate difficulties and achieve meaningful goals.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I enjoy using a solution-focused approach because it helps clients recognize their capacity for change and growth. Together, we focus on identifying goals, highlighting successes, and building practical solutions that fit your unique circumstances. By concentrating on strengths and possibilities, clients often discover that they already possess many of the tools needed to overcome challenges and move forward feeling much more confident.
