Clients say this provider is
I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and overwhelming emotions. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and in control of your life.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your experiences, current concerns, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish. We’ll also talk about what you would like from therapy and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while creating a plan for how we can work together moving forward.
I bring warmth, empathy, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s unique experience. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can speak openly and feel heard. I also believe therapy should be practical and meaningful, so I help clients identify patterns, build on their strengths, and develop coping strategies they can use in everyday life. I meet clients where they are, while gently challenging and encouraging them as they work toward the changes that matter most to them.
My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, stressed, or simply stuck and is ready for support and positive change. You may be navigating relationship difficulties, family stress, life transitions, work-related challenges, or emotions that have become difficult to manage on your own. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. I welcome clients who are willing to explore their experiences, better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and work toward feeling more confident, balanced, and in control of their lives.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how they may be affecting your daily life, and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. I incorporate practical coping strategies and skills that you can use outside of sessions to manage anxiety, depression, stress, and overwhelming emotions. I tailor CBT to your individual needs and goals so therapy feels collaborative, supportive, and relevant to your everyday life.
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients reduce shame, self-criticism, and anxiety by developing a kinder and more supportive inner voice. My experience includes integrating CFT practices such as soothing-rhythm breathing, compassionate imagery, and exploring the “inner critic” with clients who struggle with trauma, anxiety, and low self-worth. In my practice, I help clients build emotional safety, strengthen self-compassion, and develop coping skills that support healing and resilience.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and use it to help clients safely process traumatic experiences while building coping skills that reduce anxiety, fear, and emotional distress. In my practice, I guide clients through grounding techniques, cognitive restructuring, and gradual trauma processing at a pace that feels safe and supported. TF-CBT helps clients understand how trauma affects thoughts and emotions, and together we work toward healing, resilience, and a stronger sense of control in daily life.
I have experience integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills with adolescents and adults to address emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and interpersonal difficulties. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and culturally responsive, focusing on practical skill-building in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Interventions are tailored to each client’s needs and goals, with ongoing monitoring of progress.
I have experience supporting adolescents and adults through grief and loss, including bereavement, anticipatory grief, and complex or prolonged grief reactions. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and client-centered, integrating psychoeducation, emotional processing, and practical coping strategies. I tailor interventions to each individual’s cultural context, values, and stage of grief, with the goal of supporting healthy mourning, meaning-making, and adjustment over time.

This is only the first session, so I want to give it another chance since today was more for her to get to know me better. But it felt very one sided. I think being able to relate is important to me. I feel like the first session is to get to know each other, but it was more of a Q&A. Also, she would ask questions I answered in a previous question like if I had siblings when I told a story with my brothers. And if I knew what journaling was after I explained how I used to journal before.
