My name is Emily and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in the states of NH and MA. I graduated with my Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and have been practicing therapy for over ten years. I provide psychotherapy to adults and adolescents via Telehealth. My specialties include anxiety, depression, life changes/transitions, trauma-related and adjustment issues, perinatal/postpartum issues, women’s mental health, grief/loss, as well as self-identity and relationship issues.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, strengths-based, solution-focused, and person-centered therapies. Our first session will be an opportunity for me to learn more about you, what brings you to therapy, and better understand your history and present circumstances. We will also discuss goals you have and how therapy can be helpful for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy helping my clients improve their quality of life and enhance their well-being. I am here to provide you with a safe and supportive space, through active listening, empathy, and non-judgement, where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings and being your authentic self. My warm, compassionate, and collaborative style empowers individuals to identify their needs and strengths, develop effective coping skills and strategies, and work towards their personal goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals primarily in late adolescence and early to mid adulthood, navigating various life transitions, experiencing anxiety, depression, and stressful circumstances or changes. I also have experience working with new mothers/parents, and supporting them from preconception to perinatal and postnatal stages, and their related challenges. I help clients who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or uncertain, by meeting them where they are at and supporting them with fostering a growth mindset to adapt to life's challenges and thrive as individuals.
