Hello, I'm Aaron Montgomery, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 9 years of experience. I am originally from South Florida and I am proud graduate of Florida Atlantic University. I use a blend of therapeutic approaches to offer personalized care, emphasizing the importance of self-care and balancing its five areas. My goal is to help clients effectively manage their mental health challenges and improve their overall well-being. Outside of being a therapist I am an ex-college athlete and I love fitness. I participate in multiple extracurricular activities and am heavily involved in multiple nonprofits. I like to keep myself busy and put an emphasis on challenging myself.
In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and then discuss your specific challenges. I'll assess your self-care routines to understand your current level of functioning, as self-care is often the first area to decline with mental health issues. This will help me create a tailored plan for our follow-up sessions.
My greatest strength is my relatability. I quickly build rapport and help clients connect the dots, drawing on years of experience with diverse populations.
I love working with clients at life crossroads who are ready to make changes. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, depressed, anxious etc. I help them identify and address the root causes of these feelings. By making these changes I feel the clients are then able to identify and walk down their desired path.

first session with aaron as my therapist and it feels like i’m talking to a relative i haven’t spoken to in a while and that we catch up like old neighborhood kids, can’t wait to continue my mental journey and i’d recommend aaron to everyone looking for a direct but goofy therapist
