New to Grow
Life gets heavy. Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm can make it hard to recognize yourself. It can feel like you're constantly bracing for the next hard thing. Maybe there was a moment recently where you thought "I can't keep doing this". A relationship that finally cracked. A morning you couldn't get up. A version of yourself you barely recognize anymore. That moment, the one that brought you here, matters. You're not broken. You're exhausted. And you don't have to keep figuring it out alone.
Therapy with me is focused and practical. We won't just talk about what's going wrong in your life. We'll get to the root of discomfort, build real skills, and track real change. Within 24 hours of each session, you'll receive a personalized summary, a relevant education piece, and tools to use before we meet again. Because the work that happens between sessions is where things actually matter.
I bring both clinical training and lived experience to this. I'm in recovery, and I'm a parent of an LGBTQ+ child. You won't find judgment here - only someone who genuinely gets it. Our first session is just a conversation. No right words required. Come as you are, and we'll go from there.
I am best positioned to serve adults of all ages and genders who are struggling with anxiety, depression, intense emotions, repeating patterns, trauma, or painful life experiences that feel hard to move through alone. Many of my clients feel exhausted from trying to “just be okay” and are looking for a warm, nonjudgmental space where they can better understand what is driving their symptoms, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then build practical skills to challenge unhelpful patterns, manage symptoms, and create meaningful change between sessions.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I have completed ACT training and use this approach to help clients make room for difficult thoughts and emotions, connect with their values, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want even when anxiety, depression, or painful experiences are present.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR through EMDR of the Rockies EMDRIA approved program and have been using it for five years to help clients safely process painful or traumatic experiences, reduce the intensity of distressing memories, and move toward greater emotional relief and healing.
Psychoeducation
I have been facilitating psychoeducation groups for five years and currently conduct at least three groups each week, using education, practical tools, and supportive discussion to help clients better understand their symptoms, build coping skills, and apply what they learn outside of sessions.
Mind-body approach
I use a mind-body approach to help clients understand how emotional distress shows up physically, then integrate grounding, nervous system regulation, breathwork, and body awareness skills to support healing, reduce symptoms, and create a greater sense of safety within themselves.
