About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with four years of clinical experience supporting both young and older adults on their mental health journeys. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee and am licensed to practice in Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Kansas. I’m passionate about helping clients break unhelpful cycles, manage mood changes, set healthy boundaries, and improve their overall sense of well-being. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change is possible when you feel supported, understood, and empowered. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and develop practical tools to navigate life with greater confidence and balance. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to invest in your mental health, I’m honored to walk alongside you in the process.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and discuss background information. We’ll then identify your concerns, explore what’s getting in the way of feeling better, and develop a plan that feels achievable and tailored to you. Most of my clients begin to notice a decrease in their symptoms within the first few weeks, and together, we work toward lasting progress and stability.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to connect to my clients. I cultivate an environment of healing, freedom, and laughter and employ an array of treatment modalities to enable my clients to achieve their desired outcome.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with clients who have a desire to change, but don't know where to start.

Ednita is the perfect balance of warmth and accountability. She challenged me right out of the gate with science-based perspectives, while also encouraging me to extend grace to myself. I walked away excited to do the work and excited for our next session. I left with both things to reflect on and tangible tools to carry me through. I feel seen, heard, and most of all — supported. Highly recommend!

I believe this is someone that I’m going to be able to discuss and talk about things openly. I like the fact that she actually had a plan and sent me something to work on on our first visit. I like a therapist that feels friendly talking to, but I also Like a therapist that puts a plan in place to keep me accountable for healing.
