About me

I’m a clinical social work therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, and everyday life stressors. I use a supportive, collaborative approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and build practical coping skills. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful, lasting changes.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll also begin identifying initial goals and discuss how I can best support you. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace, ask questions, and start building a foundation for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance between structure and genuine connection. I use evidence-based methods like CBT to offer clear, practical tools, while also creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I believe therapy should be both validating and empowering. Together, we’ll not only explore patterns and build insight, but also take meaningful, manageable steps toward change. My goal is to help you feel heard and understood, while also supporting you in building confidence, strengthening coping skills, and creating lasting, positive growth. Clients often share that our work feels both reassuring and productive—offering a sense of clarity, direction, and real progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, and life stressors and are motivated to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I work well with clients who may feel stuck in patterns of negative thinking, emotional overwhelm, or relationship challenges, and who are open to learning practical skills to improve their daily functioning. My approach is especially helpful for those seeking a structured, supportive environment to build coping strategies, strengthen self-awareness, and work toward goals such as improved mood, healthier relationships, and increased confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Using a structured, goal-oriented approach, I support clients in developing practical coping skills, challenging negative self-talk, and building healthier ways of thinking and responding. My work emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and creating lasting change through evidence-based strategies.

Supportive

Supportive therapy is a collaborative, compassionate approach that helps you navigate life's challenges while building on your existing strengths. In our sessions, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process difficult emotions, gain perspective, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we'll work to reduce distress, strengthen resilience, improve self-confidence, and help you feel more capable of managing stress, relationships, and everyday challenges. My goal is to meet you where you are, offering encouragement, validation, and evidence-based guidance that empowers you to move toward lasting emotional well-being.

Strength-Based

Strengths-based therapy focuses on identifying and building upon the qualities, abilities, and resilience you already possess. Rather than focusing solely on problems or symptoms, I help you recognize your personal strengths, past successes, and internal resources to create meaningful change. Together, we'll use these strengths to overcome challenges, increase confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward your goals. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, and my role is to help you discover and harness the strengths that support lasting emotional well-being.
