Trust that gut instinct telling you something needs to change. With over 10 years of experience helping individuals, families, and couples navigate life’s challenges, my specialties include ADHD, Borderline Personality, Life Transitions, Trauma, and Relationship Issues. I focus on building self-esteem and creating stronger, healthier connections—starting with the most important relationship of all: the one you have with yourself. In our work together, I will support you in discovering your strengths, understanding your unique needs, and developing the tools to improve your life and relationships. Whether you’re navigating the complexities of a diagnosis, learning how to communicate better with a partner, initiating your healing journey, or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I'm not an advice giver; I'm your accountability coach. Let's start building a more fulfilling life together!
In our first session I like to address "why now?" I also conduct a brief survey of your history, behavior patterns, and attachment style- this helps me understand your Lense of the world.
I'm consistently grounded and unshakably present- especially when things get hard.
I love working with all age groups. I specialize in serving young adults navigating life's transitions. I have years of experience working with children and families inside the home. I also have 10 plus years treating adults and couples going through life's challenges or needing help feeling understood by their partner. If you feel stuck on the same hamster wheel of a negative cycle- this is the safe space where we can begin to foster healthier patterns.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I encourage clients to challenge irrational thoughts and cognitive distortions, replacing them with healthy adaptive thinking patterns. In turn promoting behavioral momentum.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have experience facilitating DBT support groups in an inpatient setting for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, abandonment issues, substance use disorder, suicidal ideation, and other high acuity symptoms.
Trauma Informed Care
My trauma-informed approach emphasizes safety, trust, and empowerment, helping clients heal from past experiences while developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges.
Gestalt
I integrate Gestalt Therapy principles by helping clients build present-moment awareness of their thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and relational patterns. I use an experiential, here-and-now approach to support insight, emotional processing, and increased authenticity in how clients relate to themselves and others.

Parisa is amazing! I'm usually very uncomfortable and have a hard time being myself, but Parisa made me feel so comfortable. I think she is really going to be able to help me with some of the key concerns I'm seeking to address.

My wife and I were in need of a couple's therapist, Parisa Mehrinfar was the perfect person for the job. She is soft-spoken, asked important questions, and gave us assignments that helped our healing progress. Having Parisa chat with us once a week has improved our marriage and communication.
