I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and have been in the Mental Health field for almost 10 years. I am also an Addiction Specialist Associate. I have experience working with clients of all ages and are from diverse backgrounds. My approach to counseling is to listen with empathy, to empower, and to be solution oriented and supportive while assisting you with your goals.

At our first visit you will get the opportunity to introduce yourself and to express your reasons for therapy. I will be there to listen to you and support you, and help develop ways that we can work together to make postive outcomes in your life.

I take a non-judgmental stance in therapy, creating a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings. I like solution-focused brief therapy because I believe that it starts with a plan and goals to achieve an outcome in therapy. I may also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in therapy.
