Hello, my name is Rebecca Bartle. My master's degree is in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), licensed in Texas and West Virginia. I have over 30 years' experience working in the field of mental health, wellness and recovery. I use a wholistic, person centered approach in collaboration with clients to assist them in defining goals, working toward personal growth, cultivating insight and designing beneficial solutions for change and healing.
In our first session we can explore what brings you to therapy and chart a course for getting to where you'd like to be with your wellness and growth going forward.
I use a person-centered, meet-you-where-you-are-and-go-from-there approach. I invite you to join me in creating a treatment plan. I encourage visualization, fostering hope and resilience as I join clients in exploration of internal dialogue, recognition of behavior and boundary patterns as well as emotions experienced. Together, we map a healthy path forward.
I’m dedicated to working with individuals, couples, children and families who are interested in understanding and healing from trauma, recovering from addiction, developing insight into family of origin dynamics and adjusting to the multitudes of challenges Life can offer. (This practice provides outpatient psychotherapy services only. Services do not include court-ordered or forensic evaluations, reunification therapy, custody-related services, probation-related services, or documentation for legal proceedings, disability determinations, or Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.)

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Learning the connections between what you think, feel and do can be highly liberating from distress and serves to cultivate balance and empowerment.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotions Regulation and Interpersonal Skills all enhance recovery from trauma, repair attachment challenges and foster overall wellness as well as greater insight into how stressors can manifest into self-defeating patterns.
Motivational Interviewing
My collaborative approach serves to empower clients toward the change they strive for by drawing out their own meaning, importance and capacity for change while honoring their autonomy and individuation.

After three Therapist told me they couldn’t help me, and one even accused me of lying about my previous employment with various government agencies and level of security clearance, Rebecca was soft. She was kind. She saw me, a person, not a problem. For the first time in 20 years I actually feel like I’m going to have a future that is for me and not for the people who stole it. I am different, not difficult. I am special, not special ed. I am a snowflake ❄️ in the sand. Ty Rebecca 🫶🏻

I’ve been drowning lately and feeling pretty hopeless. After talking with Rebecca, I left feeling lighter and, for the first time in a while, hopeful. I’m really grateful for that and looking forward to continuing to work with her.
