About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia with a master’s degree from Liberty University and more than 11 years of experience in the mental health field. I provide Christian counseling for adults who want to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process, with a focus on anxiety, life challenges, women's issues, relationships, and healthy boundaries. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in helping clients develop effective coping skills and move forward with greater confidence and emotional well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will focus on building rapport, and together, we will figure out your challenges. We will create a plan that targets your specific challenges, and this plan will help guide our future sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach stands out because of my ability to build a strong therapeutic rapport and create a trusting, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I meet clients where they are and provide compassionate, faith-integrated care tailored to their individual needs and goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who want to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. They may be experiencing anxiety, stress, women's issues, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, life transitions, or uncertainty about their next steps. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to grow, develop healthier coping skills, and improve their emotional well-being. I also welcome clients who want to incorporate their Christian faith into counseling as part of their healing and personal growth. Together, we will identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and balance.

My treatment methods

Faith based therapy

I use faith-based therapy to help clients explore life’s challenges through a Christian perspective. Together, we may incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based reflection while identifying unhealthy thought patterns, developing effective coping skills, and working toward meaningful emotional and spiritual growth. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to each client’s goals and comfort level.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier perspectives, and practice effective coping skills that support positive and lasting change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, build on what is already working, and develop practical steps toward their goals. Together, we focus on solutions and achievable changes that can help clients move forward with greater confidence.

My 1st session was overall good, she’s a very good listener. And look forward to our next session to discuss how to cope with my feelings (sensitivity). She’s very welcoming and easy to talk to 😇
