One treatment method that clients find helpful is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This therapeutic mode helps you take a close look at your thoughts and emotions and helps you understand how they affect your actions. Through CBT you can unlearn negative thoughts and behaviors and learn to adopt healthier thinking patters and habits.
Therapy is essentially relational and when we show up, our faith does too. It is part of us. I believe that integrating faith into the counseling experience helps to develop a stronger faith and self-image.
I believe that you have the skills within you to overcome the issues that are causing discomfort. I work with clients to figure out their strengths and how to use their strengths to have a better, more satisfying life.
I have experience helping people solve specific problems quickly using solution focused methods with proven results over a short number of sessions.

Jane is a fantastic counselor and has been wonderful to work with these last few months. Exceptional care and interaction during our sessions, enabling me to discover and express things that needed to be said and shared, and exploring my mind/heart/psyche, while learning how to navigate through my challenges and issues in a way that progresses me forward in a healthy and sound manner, ensuring I have the tools and resources necessary to overcome those things and be whole.
