Hi! I’m Renee. I’m a clinically licensed social worker, but more importantly, I’m someone who believes that no matter how stuck or heavy things feel right now, you already possess the inner tools to heal. My path to this work was driven by a deep value for human resilience; I’ve always been drawn to the stories we tell ourselves and how, with the right support, we can rewrite them. In our sessions, you won't feel like a case file or a list of symptoms. Clients often tell me after our first meeting that they finally felt heard—not just listened to. I aim to create a space that feels like a deep breath: safe, non-judgmental, and focused entirely on you. While I use trauma-informed and cognitive-based tools, I don't just "apply" them to you. Instead, we work together to uncover your existing strengths and use them as the foundation for your recovery. I view the healing process as a collaborative journey of empowerment. It isn’t about "fixing" what’s broken, but about reclaiming the parts of yourself that may have been lost to life’s challenges. My approach is warm and direct; I’m here to be your guide and your loudest cheerleader as you transform. Outside of the therapy room, I carry these same values of authenticity and connection into my own life, believing that we are all constantly growing. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you discover just how capable of healing you truly are.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll start with a brief chat to get comfortable before diving into the specific challenges you’re facing. My goal is to truly hear you, ensuring the tailored plan we build together feels like a natural fit for your life rather than a clinical checklist. I believe healing isn’t about being "fixed," but about reclaiming your agency. Clients often tell me they feel a rare sense of being seen and exhaling for the first time in years. I’m here because I value deep, human connection over rigid formality, bringing my genuine self to every conversation.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe healing begins the moment you feel safe enough to be honest. Clients often leave our first session saying they feel a sense of "lightness"—the relief of finally being understood without judgment. My approach isn't about ticking boxes; it’s about a collaborative, warm deep-dive into what’s holding you back. We’ll swap clinical jargon for real conversations that uncover your "why." You can expect a space that feels both grounding and energizing, where we transform your heaviest challenges into a clear, manageable path forward together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I thrive when working with individuals who are ready to step into the driver’s seat of their own growth. While I believe we all carry unique strengths capable of overcoming life's heaviest obstacles, I also know that those strengths can sometimes feel buried under the weight of exhaustion or self-doubt. My goal is to help you clear that path so you can see your own resilience clearly again. Working with me feels less like a clinical interrogation and more like a focused, collaborative conversation. Clients often tell me after our first session that they finally feel "heard" in a way they haven't before—that the space felt safe enough to be honest, but structured enough to feel productive. I don’t just sit and nod; I am right there in the trenches with you, offering a balance of warm empathy and the gentle "nudge" needed to spark real change. I believe that healing isn't about "fixing" what is broken, but about integrating your experiences so they no longer control your future. My own path to this work was born from a deep value for human connection and a belief that no one should have to navigate their hardest chapters alone. Whether you are facing a specific transition or a general sense of "stuckness," I am honored to walk alongside you as you rediscover the tools you already possess.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it’s a practical, proven way to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are all connected. Often called the "gold standard" of therapy, CBT isn't just about talk—it’s about giving you a reliable toolkit so you can navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity. My practice is centered on helping people navigate big life changes—whether that’s a career shift, a relationship transition, or simply a desire for deeper personal growth. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to explore new ways of being and want a therapeutic partner to help them stay grounded as they move through life’s ups and downs.

Attachment-based

I specialize in Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), helping people who feel stuck in repetitive relationship patterns or emotional struggles. My approach is based on a simple idea: the way we bonded with our caregivers as kids created a "blueprint" for how we connect with others today. By exploring these early roots together, we can reshape how you give and receive love in your adult life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, I focus on Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help you move beyond just "getting through the day." By blending traditional techniques with modern mindfulness, I’ll help you break the cycle of overthinking and "autopilot" living so you can feel more present and grounded in your daily life.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) to support you when you're feeling "stuck" or unsure about your next big move. I don’t believe in telling you what to do; instead, I respect your independence and work alongside you to uncover your own personal "why" for making a change.

Interpersonal

I believe that how we feel is deeply connected to the people in our lives. In my practice, I use Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) to help you navigate and improve your closest relationships, as I’ve seen firsthand how strengthening these bonds leads to the fastest path toward emotional relief and lasting well-being.

This was my first time ever going to Therapy and she made me feel extremely comfortable. Explained things to me and how some stuff works. I’m very excited to start this journey.
