About me

My name is Charlotte Marlow, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who provides telehealth services in Kentucky. I offer both weekend and evening availability. I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating mental health challenges, substance use, and life transitions. I help by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions while building practical skills for lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first few sessions, you can expect a collaborative approach where we focus on getting to know your story, identifying your goals, and beginning to develop a plan tailored to your needs. My practice is unique because I prioritize genuine connection, individualized care, and meeting clients exactly where they are in their journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the greatest strengths I bring to my sessions is genuine empathy. I know what it is like to walk through difficult seasons of life, and my own journey in recovery has taught me to meet people with compassion rather than judgment. I believe people need to feel safe enough to be honest before meaningful change can happen. I bring warmth, authenticity, and a willingness to sit with people in the uncomfortable moments. I don’t expect my clients to have everything figured out. Together, we can slow things down, make sense of what they’re experiencing, identify their strengths, and take things one step at a time.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who feels stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of where to go from here. They may be navigating addiction or recovery, relationship struggles, life transitions, anxiety, grief, or the everyday challenges that can sometimes feel heavier than we expected. I especially enjoy working with people who are ready for something to change, even if they aren’t quite sure what that change looks like yet. You don’t have to have all the answers, or even know exactly what you need from therapy, to begin. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and help you move toward where you want to be. I believe therapy isn’t about someone telling you how to live your life; it’s about having a supportive person beside you as you discover your own strengths, gain clarity, heal, and create a life that feels meaningful to you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach to create therapy that is both supportive and practical. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship comes first, so I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Through CBT, we explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and identify patterns that may be contributing to distress or keeping you stuck. Together, we work on challenging unhelpful thought patterns, developing healthier ways of coping, and building practical skills that can be used in everyday life.
