New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis. I use evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR to help clients heal from anxiety, stress, and trauma. My background in behavior analysis allows me to blend practical skill-building with emotional insight, helping clients make meaningful and lasting changes in their daily lives. For those who wish to integrate their faith, I also offer Christian counseling within a compassionate and supportive space.
During our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, strengths, and current challenges to help create a plan that fits your needs. You can expect a calm, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and encouraged to take small, meaningful steps toward growth.
Clients often describe my approach as grounded, empathetic, and practical. I combine evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR with a warm, collaborative style to help you gain insight and confidence. Whether we’re building coping skills or processing deeper emotions, my focus is always on helping you feel more balanced and empowered.
I work best with adults who are ready to make meaningful changes and want practical tools to improve their daily life. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or past trauma and are looking for guidance that’s both compassionate and evidence-based. I also enjoy helping professionals and caregivers who are balancing many responsibilities and need space to recharge and reset.
I will use CBT in practice by helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, replacing them with more balanced and realistic perspectives. Together, we will develop coping strategies and practice behavioral changes that support healthier emotions and improved daily functioning.
I will use EMDR in practice by guiding clients through bilateral stimulation while they process distressing memories in a safe and structured way. This helps reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic experiences and allows clients to form more adaptive beliefs about themselves and their past.
I will use Christian counseling in practice by integrating faith-based principles with evidence-based approaches to support clients in aligning their healing with their spiritual beliefs. This allows clients to draw strength from scripture, prayer, and their relationship with God while working toward emotional and relational well-being.
I will use DBT in practice by teaching clients skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. These skills will help clients manage intense emotions, build healthier relationships, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I will use ACT in practice by helping clients notice and accept difficult thoughts and feelings without letting them control their behavior. Together, we will focus on clarifying values and taking committed actions that move them toward a meaningful and fulfilling life.
