I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the field for 11 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, identity formation, crisis management, addiction, and life transitions. Outside of my career, I am an animal lover that enjoys traveling. I enjoy being physically active and believe the best gifts are those you can experience! I am a fan of all Italian food and find comfort in relaxing while watching a good movie or reading a thrilling book. I strongly advocate the concept of self-care and overall life balance. In our first session together, we will focus on expectations and reasons for wanting to begin working together! I will ask for some background information and also share some of my own. I believe getting to know one another and learning about both my style of counseling and your reasons for seeking treatment allow for us to form a general understanding of what working together would look like.
I have gravitated throughout the last few years towards the young adult population. I feel this phase of life can be so overwhelming and exhausting at times to navigate without proper supports in place. The pressures and stressors that individuals face during this transitional phase of life are very unique. I find it important to allow for young adults to have a space where they can address specific challenges related to facing new responsibilities and learning how to be successful in their day to day lives.
