Hi! I’m Natasha, a compassionate and client-centered Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC, and the Commonwealth of Virginia. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) helping individuals struggling with ADHD, anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, and motivation find clarity, confidence, and purpose through evidence-based strategies.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other in a safe and comfortable space. We’ll focus on understanding your challenges, experiences, and goals. I’ll help identify thought patterns that may be holding you back and tailor a plan to support your growth. Using CBT to challenge negative thinking and Motivational Interviewing to strengthen confidence, we’ll create a personalized approach to help you move forward. My goal is for you to walk away from our first session feeling heard and hopeful about the path ahead.
I create a warm, empathetic, and collaborative environment where you feel understood and supported. I combine practical, evidence-based strategies with compassionate listening, ensuring you have the tools to navigate challenges. With CBT, I help reframe limiting beliefs, while Motivational Interviewing empowers you to make sustainable changes at your own pace. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, helping you move from feeling stuck to feeling empowered and in control of your journey. Whether facing anxiety, self-doubt, or life transitions, I provide non-judgmental support and actionable strategies for long-term success.
I work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps in life. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or difficulty managing change. They often want to grow and improve but feel held back by fear, negative thought patterns, distractibility, or a lack of confidence. Some of my clients may be navigating personal, professional, or relational challenges, feeling paralyzed by fear of failure, unsure how to move forward, or trapped in unhealthy thought patterns and cycles of inattention or disorganization. I create a non-judgmental, supportive space where we work collaboratively to reframe negative beliefs, uncover strengths, and build sustainable coping strategies for long-term success.
CBT helps you identify and change negative thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues. Together, we will recognize unhelpful thinking, such as catastrophizing or negative self-talk, and replace it with healthier, more constructive perspectives. I will guide you in developing effective coping strategies, building resilience, and practicing behaviors that support your personal growth. Using structured techniques like exposure therapy, mindfulness, and behavioral activation, I will help you manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and regain control over your thoughts and emotions.
Change can feel overwhelming, especially with uncertainty or doubt. Using Motivational Interviewing (MI), I help you clarify your goals, explore your values, and build motivation for meaningful change. Instead of telling you what to do, I guide you in discovering your own reasons for change—whether in relationships, career, health, or personal growth. Together, we identify what truly matters to you, break challenges into manageable steps, and build confidence in your ability to move forward. I provide compassionate support and practical strategies to help you navigate anxiety, self-doubt, trauma, or major life transitions. Let’s work together to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
