As a mother, wife, and first-generation college graduate, I draw inspiration from my trials, using them as fuel to empower others to create a better tomorrow. Aside from my clinical work, I am also a mental health speaker and advocate. I am passionate about stopping the stigmas related to mental health-- particularly in relation to mental illness. I want to work to normalize experiences working through and overcoming symptoms of mental health disorders. I want to provide support for those looking to work on their own diagnoses, but also help to end cycles of trauma and mental illness that can oftentimes reoccur in families across generations without intervention and treatment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients can expect to feel confident and inspired after our sessions, with a revitalized sense of their own strengths and a more optimistic perspective on their challenges. I personalize my approach to honor each person's distinct journey, fostering an environment of growth and understanding.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My background, extensive personal experience and my own mental health journey are my greatest assets as a provider. I don't just talk the talk, I have actually walked the walk! Additionally, my expertise in multicultural counseling, family and parenting issues, and trauma recovery can help clients embrace their unique strengths and develop resilience for a brighter future.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My ideal client is a seeker of change and growth, who has encountered hardships and is ready to embrace a brighter future. They may have faced traumas or difficulties that have impacted their daily life, but they are eager to find a way to overcome these challenges and live a more fulfilling life. I am here to help them find the guidance and support they need to make this possible. I enjoy working with individuals confronting various difficulties, including depression, trauma, cultural challenges, parenting struggles, self-esteem and identity issues, and relationship or family problems. In our initial sessions, we will explore your primary concerns and co-create a plan to address them. Consistency and honesty are vital, and I am dedicated to providing the highest quality support.
