LCSW, 20 years of experience
When anxiety, stress, or self-doubt take over, it can feel impossible to slow down or find peace. I help people untangle those patterns so they can breathe deeply again—feeling calmer, clearer, and more confident in their daily lives. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) with over 20 years of experience. My work is guided by curiosity, compassion, and cultural awareness—honoring your story, background, and pace of healing. Using a neuroscience- and trauma-informed approach, I blend Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Schema, Somatic, Experiential, and Mindfulness-Based therapies to calm the nervous system, reshape unhelpful patterns, and restore balance. Clients often describe our work as both grounding and transformative—where relief turns into growth, and growth turns into genuine self-trust. My style is warm, collaborative, and practical, meeting you where you are and walking beside you as you rediscover your calm, your confidence, and your sense of self.
Your first session is about connection and comfort. We’ll take time to get to know one another, talk about what brings you in, and explore the areas of your life you’d like to focus on. I’ll share more about the therapeutic process, introduce the approaches that might fit you best, and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll begin shaping goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and uniquely yours. Most importantly, this is a space to see if our partnership feels like the right fit—because therapy works best when it feels safe and collaborative.
Clients often tell me that I help them feel calm, seen, and capable again. I specialize in treating anxiety (as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional), trauma recovery, grief and loss, chronic health conditions, and challenging family or relationship dynamics. My greatest strength is helping clients understand their nervous systems, change old patterns, and develop the skills and tools they need to live with balance, clarity, and confidence.
My ideal clients are thoughtful, motivated individuals who want to feel more at ease in their lives—but may not yet have the tools to get there. They might feel stuck, anxious, or burned out by the pace of life, relationships, or self-expectations. Together, we’ll find a steadier rhythm that supports your emotional well-being and helps you move from just getting through the day to genuinely thriving. Starting therapy can feel intimidating—but you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Together, we’ll create space for curiosity, healing, and self-compassion as you reconnect with your strengths and sense of peace. I’d be honored to walk beside you as you find relief and rediscover yourself.
This therapeutic approach combines different techniques and approaches from various schools of psychotherapy, which enhances client-centered care and emphasizes flexibility that aligns with the client's specific needs and goals. My decision to incorporate integrative therapy was fueled by the ISST Schema training (40+ hours), Trauma Studies, and IFS courses I completed.
