Hello, I'm Nancy. I have been in mental health field for the past 20 years, working in the community, hospital setting and private practice. I am happy to be joining the Grow family as I embark on a new journey of helping those in need through the tele health platform and giving my expertise as a LPC to address mental health concerns. I want to help others combat depression, anxiety , and relationship issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is me getting to know you and what your expectations is with therapy. I want to know what brought you to treatment and I want to assure you that you would be handled with care.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider my greatest strengths are being a great listener, asking those questions that make you think deep and helping you with the most challenging parts of your life.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

The best way to describe client that I want to serve, is that I would like clients that are willing to put in the hard work to get better. I want them to feel that they are in a safe place with me and I want them to have the ability to express their selves without feeling judged or scared.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps people change unhelpful thought and behavioral patterns. It can help with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and more.
