LCSW, 10 years of experience
Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida, also licensed in Maryland. I received my Master’s degree from Barry University and have been practicing for over 10 years. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and real — no judgment, no fluff. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, and life transitions by creating a safe, supportive space to slow down, reflect, and do the inner work needed for growth. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, find clarity, and build habits that support a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to talk about what’s been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to get out of it. I like to keep things real and down-to-earth — this isn’t a test or an interview. Think of it as a conversation where you can exhale, be honest, and feel supported. From there, we’ll start to build a plan together that fits your pace and goals. My focus is on creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are.
I bring a trauma-informed lens to everything I do, helping clients uncover and understand the “why” behind their emotions and patterns. Over the past 10 years, I’ve supported individuals in identifying and working through the underlying factors contributing to anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm. My strength lies in helping clients make meaningful connections between past experiences and present struggles — and guiding them toward healing, self-compassion, and lasting change. I meet clients where they are, helping them move forward with clarity and confidence.
I work best with adults who are ready to pause, reflect, and start making sense of what’s been weighing on them. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained, or maybe a major life transition has left you feeling uncertain. Whatever it is, this is a space where you can process it all — without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and help you move toward a version of yourself that feels grounded, confident, and at peace.
I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions. I meet clients where they are, checking in on what feels heavy in the moment and letting processing happen at a pace that feels right for them. This creates trust and allows for deeper exploration when the client is ready.
I use CBT techniques to help clients identify patterns of thinking that contribute to anxiety, depression, or feelings of being stuck. Together, we work on reframing unhelpful thoughts, setting achievable goals, and developing practical strategies to navigate challenges. My experience shows that blending CBT with a supportive, person-centered approach helps clients take actionable steps toward meaningful change while feeling understood and supported.
With this approach, I recognize how past trauma can shape thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment, helping clients feel empowered and understood. I guide clients in understanding their experiences and developing strategies to cope, heal, and build resilience, all while respecting their boundaries and readiness to engage with difficult topics.
