My name is Cassandra (or Cassie) DeHaney-Brown, and here is a bit about me. I am 32 years old and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I received my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and my BA in Sociology from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. I am originally from Canada but currently reside in the Brunswick, Georgia, area.
I am passionate about helping people overcome personal struggles such as self-esteem, depression, anxiety, OCD, fear, self-worth, body image, and the like. I also passionately work with females ages 10+ who struggle with issues such as family issues, behavioral issues, life transitions, women’s issues, and other various stressors, ADD/ADHD, and trauma to gain inner healing.
Having worked in this field for the past 7 years, I have been able to help my clients identify the root cause of their challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with clients seeking to find peace and healing but do not have the skills/tools to gain that peace and healing. My desire and passion is to help my clients gain a healthy perspective on their lives and who they are by using a holistic approach to counseling and a Christ-centered approach to those who request it.
My desire and passion are to help my clients gain a healthy perspective on their lives and who they are by using a holistic approach to counseling and a Christ-centered approach to those who request it. I integrate faith into the therapy process to produce improved mental health from a biblically informed perspective.
I help clients to connect their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and offer tools to help them manage their thoughts and emotions effectively.
