My name is Shontanae Green and I believe that achieving balance and alignment with our life path lead us to mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. I enjoy working with adults (particularly empaths and HSPs) to help them achieve balance and to help them reach their highest potential. I specialize in stress management and treating anxiety and depressive disorders. I offer my clients a safe space to express their emotions and experiences freely, and without judgement. As a person-centered therapist, I serve as the facilitator of positive change, providing guidance, empathy, and unconditional positive regard along the journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

If you are ready to take the first step in exploring your past and present in order to step into a brighter future, contact me today. I am here for YOU! Allow me to take this journey with you to help you break free from patterns and behaviors that no longer serve you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a therapist are my empathy and compassion.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Do you feel stressed, anxious, and emotionally exhausted by the ever-present demands of life? Or maybe you're tired of feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained by the needs, thoughts and energy of others. If the answer is yes, it's time to make a change by learning to cope, set healthy boundaries, and implement self-care.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My clinical practice includes more than five years of experience utilizing cognitive behavioral interventions. I use CBT to help my clients understand the interconnectedness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I collaborate with my clients to help them identify and challenge negative and/or irrational thought patterns, which helps to mitigate anxiety and depressive symptoms and achieve positive outcomes.

Humanistic

I have been practicing Rogerian (person-centered/humanistic) therapy for over five years, developing a strong proficiency in its application. I utilize the Rogerian approach to facilitate a supportive, empathetic, and judgement-free environment for my clients to feel comfortable expressing their deepest emotions, thoughts, and experiences.

Eclectic

I utilize the eclectic approach to draw from various theories and techniques. This allows me to tailor treatment to the unique needs of my clients.
