I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration, with a strong focus on helping individuals navigate complex emotions, trauma, and mental health challenges. I specialize in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and relational conflicts, creating a safe space to promote healing and growth. My approach I utilize an integrative approach to therapy, combining evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and trauma-informed care. My work is influenced by depth psychology and mindfulness techniques, allowing clients to explore the underlying causes of their struggles while developing practical tools for day-to-day coping. I focus on creating individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and open discussion where we explore their reasons for seeking therapy, current challenges, and desired outcomes. I also take time to answer any questions about the therapeutic process and outline how we can work together to achieve their goals. It’s an opportunity for us to build rapport and create a foundation of trust.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am passionate about helping those in need and feel honored to be trusted in that way; I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I collaborate with clients to set realistic and meaningful goals based on their values and priorities. Together, we break these goals into manageable steps and consistently revisit them throughout the therapeutic process. This allows clients to track their progress while adapting to any changes in their needs or circumstances. I love working with young and middle aged adults who are in the first few years of their careers. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

We cannot treat something we don't understand. My approach is to first identify the unhelpful pattern and then proceed to commit to a method of treating it rather than trying to get rid of. Once the function is understood, then we realize that the seemingly problematic behaviors were more so a form of protection that are no longer needed and thus considered 'bad'.
