Hello, I’m Jennifer, a licensed clinical social worker passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with life transitions, or working on building confidence and self-acceptance, you don’t have to go through it alone. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Taking this step toward therapy is a big one—I’m here to walk alongside you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming environment where we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll listen closely to understand what brought them to therapy and what their goals are. Together, we’ll discuss any concerns and begin to outline a plan to address their needs. The session will also include reviewing any necessary paperwork and discussing how therapy will work, ensuring that they feel comfortable and informed moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. I bring a collaborative approach, working alongside clients to identify their strengths and challenges. Additionally, my focus on empathy, understanding, and offering practical tools helps clients feel empowered to navigate life's difficulties with confidence and resilience.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Together, we’ll use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to build healthier thought patterns, boost confidence, and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease. Through strategies like cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and mindfulness, you'll develop practical tools to manage stress, improve emotional balance, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy provides a safe, supportive space where your voice is heard and valued. With empathy and authenticity, we’ll build a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters self-discovery and growth. This collaborative process helps strengthen self-acceptance, increase clarity, and build confidence to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation empowers clients with a deeper understanding of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. By learning practical strategies and gaining insight into their experiences, clients build confidence in managing stress, navigating life transitions, and fostering resilience. Knowledge is a powerful tool for lasting growth and well-being.
