Hi! I like to provide an eclectic approach to therapy that is individualized to your needs. I enjoy working with individual adults. I know therapy can be intimidating, but I will provide you with a warm and empathetic approach that will focus on your goals or areas of your life that are no longer working for you. We will learn a variety of coping skills to help you decrease anxiety, depression, and stress. We will use your strengths to set boundaries and identify goals you wish to achieve. Whatever you are experiencing, we will work through it together.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I will try to gain an understanding of your life as a whole. We can then work together to create treatment goals to help you stay focused. I usually provide materials or resources to utilize in between sessions to keep therapy active in your daily life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I excel in treating depression, anxiety, and relationship concerns. Mindfulness, EMDR, and CBT approaches have shown success in many of my clients to help decrease their symptoms.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I feel I am most experienced in serving clients that have felt stuck, whether from past or current experiences. I collaborate in a direct approach to help the client find manageable steps to feel successful.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help client identify cognitive distortions then reframe negative beliefs.

EMDR

I use EMDR for clients to process trauma or extreme negative core beliefs. We will then use cognitive restructuring to heal and regulate emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness with grounding techniques and breathing skills to connect mind, body, and spirit. These practices used regularly regulate the nervous system and decrease distressing thoughts.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use IFS to help clients identify and understand their parts. Clients can then decrease their inner critic and lean into using self energy to heal and grow.
