I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly in communities of color. With a Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a background in sociology from Hunter College, I provide a compassionate, trauma-informed space where individuals can heal, grow, and reclaim their power. specialize in addressing trauma, limiting beliefs, and identity-related challenges using a combination of evidence-based and holistic approaches. I recognize the importance of holistic and spiritual perspectives in healing. Whether you are seeking traditional therapy, a spiritually integrated approach, or a blend of both, I meet you where you are to create a path toward meaningful transformation. I have a particular passion for working with adoptees, especially those navigating transracial adoption, helping them explore identity, belonging, and emotional well-being. If you're ready to begin your healing journey, let’s connect.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will begin with introductions to help establish a sense of comfort and connection. I will take time to learn more about you—what brought you to therapy, any past experiences with counseling, and what you hope to gain from this process. We will review your intake information together, ensuring that I have a clear understanding of your history, concerns, and any relevant background details that may shape our work. From there, we will collaborate to identify your therapy goals, discussing what healing and growth look like for you. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the therapeutic process and for us to ensure that you feel supported and empowered as we embark on this journey together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to create personalized treatment plans that foster resilience and empowerment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with clients in ways they may not have experienced before. Whether it’s through a deep spiritual connection, cultural understanding, or a combination of both, I am committed to creating a space that feels authentic and empowering. I approach each client as a unique individual, honoring their specific needs, values, and experiences. My deeply empathic nature allows me to truly listen and meet my clients where they are, offering support that is both compassionate and non-judgmental. Above all, the comfort and safety of my clients are my top priorities. I strive to foster an environment where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected—so they can feel empowered to explore their healing journey and make meaningful changes in their lives.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am most excited to work with people of color, providing a safe and affirming space for them to navigate their healing journey. My approach is deeply rooted in cultural awareness and sensitivity, acknowledging the unique challenges that marginalized communities often face, including generational trauma, systemic oppression, and the stigma surrounding mental health. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals who are seeking to break free from limiting beliefs, heal from past wounds, and step into their full potential. Whether they are processing experiences of transracial adoption, addressing the impact of trauma, or striving for personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside them with empathy, evidence-based interventions, and a holistic approach that honors their lived experiences.
