About me

As a clinician with ADHD I have experienced firsthand many of the issues that individuals with ADHD face on a daily basis (poor experience with providers, family conflict regarding diagnosis, learning skills to accommodate my specific flavor of neurodiversity, etc). I think of ADHD as my own neurodiverse super power, and source of frustration. To paraphrase, “the ADHD giveth, and the ADHD taketh away.”

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll discuss your primary concerns, initial assessment information, discuss how you have traditionally handled your concerns, and formulate a treatment plan. Throughout our sessions we will monitor the treatment plan and modify it as we progress.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to make every person feel heard. My approach is based in positive psychology and work through a strengths based format. In lay terms, I work to help people identify the things in their lives that are working, and build/improve on those strengths I am a very interactive clinician. I am not a therapist who sits back and just says, “That’s interesting.” I work with you to create lasting change and help create solutions that work for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Clients seeking to understand their ADHD, the anxiety that can often accompany it, how to harness their flavor of ADHD, and how to develop coping skills/strategies to manage their day-to-day and long-term goals.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

The goal here is to focus on good things in your box of happiness. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel with coping skills or improving executive function, we focus on things that are going well and adapt those skills to address current life needs.

Strength-Based

Very similar to positive psychology, we accentuate the skills you have or improve on them to “go with what you know” as a starting point for addressing current issues.
