About me

I am licensed as a clinical social worker in Ohio, Maine, California, and Wyoming, with 8 years of clinical work experience. I got my MSW from The Ohio State University, specializing in mental health treatment. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, bipolar disorder, and OCD, amongst others. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Your treatment plan will be personalized to meet your unique and specific needs. Therapy takes commitment and hard work, and I am excited that you have chosen to start down the path to recovery. I look forward to working together!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will consist of an assessment to get an idea of your psychiatric history, personal history, and recent stressors that have led to you seeking treatment. We will then agree on a plan to address your condition(s). The first session is also an opportunity for us to see if we are a good fit for each other.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have significant experience with assessment and diagnosis, having done thousands of assessments over the last eight years. Additionally, I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I most often work with adults, ages 18 to 64, but have experience working with a diverse range of client backgrounds. I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders, but have worked with clients with many different behavioral health conditions. Other top conditions I work with are PTSD, OCD, and adjustment disorders.

I've worked with Tim for years and he's truly the best therapist I've had. I work in the mental health field and I recognize his skills. He challenges my beliefs, and I trust him with everything he says.

Throughout my time with Tim I have grown from an anxious unhappy hermit to becoming the most confident and authentic version of myself. This growth is a direct result of the tools Tim has given me, and the repeated practice of those tools during our sessions. I have truly rewired my brain and how I perceive the world and interact with others. Tim's positive attitude and sense of humor make him very relatable and make it easier to "swallow" the tougher "pills" to acknowledge where I need to grow.
