New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adults and families through grief, anxiety, life transitions, and identity exploration. I specialize in neurodivergence-informed care and trauma-sensitive approaches, helping clients reconnect with their values and build sustainable emotional resilience. Whether in-person or via telehealth, my work centers on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, empowered, and equipped to move forward with clarity and confidence.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative space where we focus on what brings you in and what matters most to you. We'll explore your current concerns, clarify your goals, and begin identifying patterns that may be impacting your well-being. I’ll introduce tools from ACT and CBT as appropriate, but we’ll move at your pace — with curiosity, compassion, and a focus on building trust.
I know firsthand that life doesn’t always follow a predictable path. I’ve faced anxiety, career pivots, and moments of deep uncertainty — and through doing the inner work, I found clarity and resilience. These lived experiences fuel my practice and allow me to support women and young adults as they navigate grief, transitions, and identity shifts. My greatest strength lies in blending evidence-based tools with emotional attunement, helping clients move forward with confidence, even when life feels messy or uncertain. Part of what shapes my approach is the journey I’ve taken myself — not just as a clinician, but as someone who’s lived through it. I’m the author of When Life Happens: Dare, Stretch and Prosper… Becoming Your Best You Despite Life Difficulties, a book that explores how we let go of what’s no longer working, embracing life on its own terms, and cultivating resilience during uncertainty. That process taught me how to hold space for complexity, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about helping others find clarity and courage in their own lives.
I support adult women and young adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, and identity shifts. Whether you're facing career stress, relationship changes, or self-doubt, I offer a grounded space to explore what matters most. Using an ACT-CBT approach, I help you build clarity, confidence, and practical tools for healing and growth.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility and reconnect with their values, especially during periods of grief, anxiety, or life transition. ACT allows us to explore difficult emotions without avoidance, while fostering committed action toward a more meaningful life. In session, I integrate mindfulness, values clarification, and experiential exercises to support sustainable change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. When paired with ACT, this approach allows clients to challenge cognitive distortions while also building psychological flexibility and values-based action. Together, CBT and ACT offer a balanced framework for navigating transitional stress with both insight and compassion.
I integrate Trauma-Informed Care with ACT and CBT to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore change without shame or re-traumatization. This approach honors the impact of lived experience while offering practical tools for emotional regulation, values-based action, and cognitive reframing. It’s especially effective for clients navigating grief, anxiety, or identity transitions.
