Hello! I am Jenn and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based out of Massachusetts. I have been working in the field in some capacity for 17 years. I have been working as a Mental Health Counselor since 2012 in a variety of capacities from crisis intervention, residential programs, teen parent program, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and in the outpatient setting. I am currently in a pediatric primary care office. I additionally have my Master’s of Education in Autism and ABA. I want to first acknowledge you for taking the first step to improving your mental wellbeing. It can be a scary and empowering process. I strive to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone. I hope to explore what brought you here whether it be anxiety, depression, life stressors, and/or if you’re a stressed out parent.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first appointment expect a brief introduction. We will explore what brought you to therapy in the first place and what some of your goals are. It is okay to be nervous and you don’t have to share everything. This is a collaborative process. Ask questions and don’t be afraid to ask for clarification if there is something you don’t understand.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I aim to be straight forward and transparent. I will not just sit here and tell you want you want to hear. I will challenge you, and it may be uncomfortable, but I will be there supporting you along the way. I believe using humor can be healing. I will meet you where you are at, but also push you forward as well.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with children, adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, identity, and self-esteem challenges, helping them build confidence and resilience. I support college students managing academic pressures, relationships, and mental health struggles like anxiety or depression. I also assist stressed-out parents juggling the demands of parenting, work, and self-care, offering strategies to restore balance and emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their concerns and achieve lasting growth.
