I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo in 2015. Over the past eight years, I have been providing psychotherapy services to support individuals in their recovery from a wide variety of mental health challenges and trauma. I believe that providing a safe space to heal and grow is an important piece of mental health recovery, and it is something I strive to provide to each of my clients. I would describe myself as a very positive person, calm, an optimist, and creative. I am looking forward to meeting with you!
I am passionate about working collaboratively to decrease the difficult symptoms you are struggling with to ultimately improve your quality of life.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy tools, Dialectical Behavior Therapy methods, mindfulness, and Seeking Safety materials.
I think my biggest strengths are active listening, providing verbal praise to acknowledge your progress, and helping you develop self-compassion.
