Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters degree from California institute of Integral Studies and have been practicing for 15 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, narcissist abuse, trauma, relocation stress, career stress, self-care, codependent behaviors, burnout, and more to become the best versions of themselves and find more joy in their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked a variety of age groups and mental health challenges over the past 15 years. My techniques support clients in discovering who they are, what they want out of life, and develop the strength to stand up for for their boundaries. Things that previous clients have said about my therapeutic style include having a calm presence, listens, is professional, compassionate, holds me accountable, is direct, pushes back when needed, caring, understanding, and respectful.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with adults who are wanting to . My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

It is important to have approach therapy with a trauma lens in order to acknowledge the possibility of trauma in a persons life and its impact on their wellbeing and to avoid practices that may cause further trauma.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness can be a safe place to start treatment. Its as simple as focusing on your breath in order to bring yourself to the present moment without judgement. Mindfulness is an active practice that supports a positive mental wellbeing.

Somatic

Somatic psychotherapy brings the body into the mental health. The body is where we live and where we experience the world. Getting to know how you respond to the world with the knowledge of your senses deepens your mental health journey and healing.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is a behavioral modification modality that helps with developing mindfulness, interpersonal, and emotional regulation skills.
