I am deeply committed to supporting you in your journey toward growth, healing, and self-discovery. Whether you are dealing with a personal struggle, a relational challenge, or navigating life changes, I believe in a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is not only to help you address the challenges you face today but also to provide you with tools to thrive long-term. Together, we can develop a path forward that allows you to feel empowered, supported, and ready to face the challenges life may bring. Let's work together to unlock your full potential and build a future where you can feel balanced and at peace.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with introductions then get into the specific challenges you are facing. We will then discuss a plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Ability to make people feel comfortable in a non-judgmental manner.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My ideal client is someone who is ready to take an active role in their own healing journey. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or any of the other issues I specialize in, you're someone who is open to self-exploration and committed to making meaningful changes in your life. You might be struggling with current issues, or you may be navigating a larger, ongoing life transition. Regardless of where you're at, you're willing to invest time and effort into improving your mental health and well-being.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past fifteen years. It has helped numerous clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have been utilizing the person-centered method in practice for fifteen years. Active listening is key. This method is founded on the idea that the client knows best. We will form a therapeutic alliance in a judgement free space where I will act as a sounding board to help you understand your own thought sand feelings better.

Faith based therapy

I spent 10 years working with clients through faith-based organizations. I understand the importance of faith and how faith can influence values and beliefs in everyday life. That experience has taught me to understand how to navigate concerns of everyday life from one's own personal faith perspective.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Working through attachment issues and fostering emotional connection, especially in relationships.
