I am a Licensed Psychologist based in the state of North Carolina. I have an MA from the University of Minnesota and a PhD from the University of Wyoming, and have more than 35 years of clinical experience in various settings. I specialize in offering Online Counseling Services for Adults. My main field of expertise are issues relating to stress, anxiety, and depression which arise from life’s various challenges, and which keep us from living up to our full potential at work, in our relationships, and in our lives in general. I work with individuals, as well as with couples.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My main goal for our first session is for us to get to know each other better and to start establishing a trusting relationship. If you feel that we are a good fit, we can then start taking a closer look at the issues which are currently on your mind. Finally, we can set some goals for our work together and begin charting a path to reach these goals in follow-up sessions.

I have vast experience in Private Practice, have taught at several Universities and Academies and have been a Consultant in Business and Industry, Health Care, and Athletics. I work in the English and German languages. Over time, my approach to Counseling has been greatly shaped by my experiences in these settings and I have become very passionate about recognizing and developing my client's - your potential while, at the same time, helping you learn to better control the impact of your weaknesses, so you can be your very best as an executive, artist, athlete, friend, parent or in any other life situation. Along the way, you may well discover that your strengths and weaknesses are the flip sides of the same traits you possess. I make every effort to treat you with the utmost respect and dignity, so you can feel accepted and comfortable in our talks. Such a trusting relationship will make it much easier to help you challenge some of your long-held thoughts and believes which may now be in your way of becoming the very best version of yourself.

I love working with professionals at any life stage who find themselves stuck in their career, relationships, or life in general and are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or have lost confidence in themselves.
