About me
Hi there, I'm Leanda! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed School Social Worker. I obtained my masters of social worker in 2018, and have a bachelor's in Psychology. I have been in the adoption and foster care field for over 9 years, with 3 years in a school setting working with teenagers. I have training in Theraplay, Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I offer faith-based counseling with a variety of services in person near Noblesville, or online (in the state of Indiana) through this virtual platform. My therapeutic focus is in adoption, foster care, attachment, school-related issues and the "in-between young adult" dealing with depression or anxiety. In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we will go over intake information and complete a biopsychosocial history assessment. Also in the first session, we will talk about informed consent, HIPPA and other paperwork necessary to engage in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe in tailoring therapy to my clients needs. In my opinion, regardless of treatment needs, the approach in which therapeutic techniques are delivered is most important to patient success. I would describe myself as an optimist, but also a realist. I believe in a holistic approach. I am empathetic and a good listener. I strive to make my patients feel comfortable in the session.
