About me

You deserve an opportunity to feel supported by having your thoughts and feelings be acknowledged. Throughout the course of life, we may experience mental health challenges that arise unexpectedly. Allow yourself to heal from those challenges and grow towards the future with the support that therapy provides. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am invested in my clients whole self by guiding them into controlling their narrative and becoming their own author. I obtained my MSW at Governors State University in 2019 with a specialization in children and families.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I provide a safe, judgement-free space for my clients to heal and thrive in an environment dedicated to their growth. I focus on creating a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss the challenges you are currently experiencing, and begin identifying your needs and goals. Together, we will develop an initial direction for therapy and discuss what you can expect as we move forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to empower my clients to be the best version of themselves through their own self determination.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, primarily working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and challenges with emotional regulation. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen communication, rebuild connection, navigate conflict, and develop healthier relationship patterns. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have had extensive training on Cognitive Behavior Therapy and continue to use it in my daily practice as it is an evidence based and practical approach to the treatment that I provide. CBT connects the concept that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are linked to one another. Within therapy, those aspects would be explored to challenge and shift thoughts to achieve the desired goal.

Motivational Interviewing

During motivational interviewing, clients will focus on enhancing motivation to change behavior.

Couples Counseling

Through treatment, couples learn on to communicate effectively, address their needs and wants, and focus on conflict resolution when challenges arise.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution focused therapy helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on the problems.

Nicole has really helped our relationship. She is personable and creates a safe, comfortable space online. She is incredibly insightful and deliberate as she listens and shares; even when focusing on one person’s growth, it never feels like blame. The proof is in the pudding: we’ve seen genuine positive changes over the last few months and are so grateful for her guidance!

I really like how Nicole not only is challenging me to realize things and talk about them. She also is empowering me and lets me know when I have had any kind of break through if it be small or large.
