I am a clinical social worker bringing a lifetime of experience to my work, helping clients to identify what's working and what changes they may consider making. I am eclectic in my approach, most often using cognitive behavioral therapy, brief therapy and positive psychology. I identify as a long-time member of the LGBTQ community and am constantly striving to become more culturally sensitive and aware. I work with persons across the lifespan: ages preschool through seniors. I bring my sense of humor, ability to adapt and switch gears, and my huge heart and compassion to the work that I do!
You can tell your story in safety, decide where to start and then we will craft a plan to move you forward in the directions of your dreams.
My biggest strengths are my ability to hold hope and the possibility of change for persons I work with, my sense of flexibility and problem-solving abilities.

Deborah worked with me after I mixed up my appointment time. She was extremely kind and patient with me. I am looking forward to our next session!

I just completed my first appointment with Deborah. It is the first time I have spoken to someone via therapy about my mother's passing last year. Although this was just a warm up meeting, I was thankful Deborah was warm and inviting, which I know will allow me to open up further in our next session. I recommend others to book with Deborah as well. Sometimes we just need that one person to make us feel comfortable enough to show our emotions.

Deborah understands me and works with my strengths and helps me work through my issues. I've had many therapists, but I have made so much progress with Deborah!
