Hi! I am a Licensed Psychologist with a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have over 18 years of experience working with veterans, active-duty military members, and diverse populations. I believe in creating a warm and collaborative space where we can work together to build skills that empower you to lead a more fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, and get an idea of what has been working for you and what hasn't been working for you. We will develop specific measurable goals for your treatment. Form Fee: I have a form fee of 200.00. If you require a form to be completed for any reason, you must be a current client with a minimum of 10 sessions prior to the request for a form completion. As a provider, I have the discretion to complete forms or refuse due to ethical concerns.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Over the past 18 years, I have been able to meet clients where they are and individualize therapy using evidence based treatment.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with adult clients ready to make changes and willing to put in hard work but just need some tools to see improvements.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While in graduate school and the military I was trained in CBT. I have delivered CBT-based interventions to clients over the past 18 years in various specialized contexts. Specifically, I use CBT to treat depression, anxiety, stress, chronic pain, insomnia, various health concerns, and PTSD. I have specialized training in Prolonged Exposure to treat PTSD, and extensive experience treating Veterans. The CBT treatment approach in therapy can help you understand and manage the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We will work together to identify patterns and how these thoughts influence the way you feel and act.
