Hi, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My counseling philosophy is centered around providing a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I love working with individuals that are ready to take on the challenge of working on themselves. I look forward to helping you find the path of becoming the person that you desire to be. We will work together to identify and challenge unhelpful patterns to help in developing healthier coping skills that allow the freedom to work towards goals that align with who you are.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then we will dive into the specific challenges that you are facing. This helps me to create a treatment plan that is suitable for us to start working on your journey towards achieving your goals in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I want to help you get your life back. I have several years of experience working with a wide range of clinical issues and diverse populations. I utilize a variety of interventions and treatment modalities to promote self-awareness, healing, and growth. It is always my goal to create a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for my clients. Most importantly, I focus on listening to your needs so we can create a plan that is specific to you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My passion is to help people discover ways to live their happiest life by accepting where they are so that they can move into a space of healing restoring hope. If you are looking to thrive in your relationship with your partner, dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, or you just simply want more out of life, I want to help you. I work from a client-centered approach that recognizes that you have the power to transform your life. You know what you need to become the best version of you and maybe you need the tools to help you along the way. Commit to change! Decide you are worth it! Succeed in the process! Life can sometimes feel like a roller coaster. You may feel like you don't know which way to go, and it could be that you don't feel like you can trust your own judgement. Contrary to these negative thoughts, you can overcome your current situation to achieve positive change and move towards a healthier way of living. You can start choosing how you want to live your life. Make the decision to discover your healing, your passion, or whatever it is that you need at this time of your life. I can't wait to see you transform! I want to help you get your life back. I have several years of experience working with a wide range of clinical issues and diverse populations. My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution Focused Therapy to help the client emphasize their strengths and resources to create positive change, focus on present and future goals rather than past problems. I love how clients are able find solutions rather than allowing underlying issues to stop them from making progress. The focus is on the client’s health rather than the problem, strengths rather than weaknesses or deficits, and skills, resources, and coping abilities that would help reach future goals.

Gottman method

I utilize this method in couples therapy to increase closeness and friendship behaviors, addressing conflict productively, and building a life of shared meaning together.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

gnitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change the destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on their behavior and emotions.1 Hofmann SG, Asnaani A, Vonk IJ, Sawyer AT, Fang A. The efficacy of cognitive behavioral therapy: A review of meta-analyses. Cognit Ther Res. 2012;36(5):427-440. doi:10.1007/s10608-012-9476-1 I utilized Cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify maladaptive patterns of thinking, emotional responses, or behaviors and replacing them with more desirable patterns.
